My favorite E-book reader " Free Kindle App"
Amazon Kindle dedicated to e-books has established itself as a single device. This is because it was armed with a strong advantage that paper books do not have. First of all, you don't need to turn the book carefully in case you're going to cut your hand on a sharp piece of paper. No matter how thick or heavy a paper book is, the weight disappears as soon as it enters the e-book device. In addition, it has a built-in backlight function that allows you to read a book even in a dark environment, and color temperature can be adjusted to comfort the eyes.
There is no shortage of e-book reader devices to threaten the castle of paper books with a long history. The most threatening terminal among them is by far the 'kindle' made by Amazon. It is no exaggeration to say that the most successful e-book device, the Kindle, has led the e-book era.
History of Amazon Kindle
To see the Kindle start, we have to go back to 2007. In November of that year, Kindle's first model 'Amazon Kindle' appeared. It started selling on the Amazon website.
In 2009, two years later, Amazon launches its next model, the Amazon Kindle 2.
In 2010, the 'Amazon Kindle Keyboard' is released. The stylish appearance comes first. The page turn button is also simpler.
In 2011, it released 'Kindle Touch'. The key is 'touch'. As you can see from the device, the keyboard was completely eliminated. The 5-way controller also disappeared. In other words, you can operate the device with just a touch without a keyboard. Starting with this model, the touch function continues to apply.
A big change will happen to the Kindle in 2012. Amazon has released 'Kindle Paperwhite'. It is slower than competing e-book terminals, but built-in backlight function. You can manually adjust the brightness and read without turning on the lights even on dark nights.
In 2013, the second paperwhite model was released. The electronic ink display function has been improved, and the speed of turning pages has also improved dramatically.
In 2014, an upgraded version of the Amazon Kindle will be introduced.
It had tried to compete with a smartphone or tablet, the Kindle has introduced Kindle app which can sync with Kindle device, tablet, and smartphone.
Of course, you can buy a Kindle which is an awesome tablet for a fraction of what an iPad costs; but, you don’t have to.
As with its other successes, the geniuses at Amazon realized that not everybody wants to carry a tablet or e-book Reader with them all of the time. Smartphones are an integral part of our lives, both personally and professionally.
